How can we here at temple of despair radio better brand ourselves, and advertise what we do. Sure to some we are just dudes (and chick) who love underground music. But there is more to it, that brings you all back, and draws you all the way here to the message boards even. Please help us to spread the gospel, and gain more followers!!!! _________________ Listen to "Buried in Wax" Wednesdays on Temple of Despair radio! |

I always figured doing more interviews would always help, as it would go: someone typing into google "interview with so-and-so", Temple of Despair comes up and then we've got them in our honey trap!
Upon seeing this question I went ahead and created a Last.fm group, so what happens there is we put up enough artist connections, people on the artists' pages notice Temple of Despair as a group connection, and beyond that its up to their curiosity to figure out what it means... (i still need an image for the group's icon)
that's all I got though. Beyond doing straight-up street time stuff, getting stickers printed and taking them to shows and stuff, all that jazz....wearing the merch when we go out, shameless shit like that. _________________ "The core of all addiction is addiction to the pain of not being seen, the same pain for all of us." - JLL |

I have been talking with Ryan about doing an Inherent Zine.
Cheap little photocopy with Interviews, Lp Reviews, Live show pics and discussions, etc... And have been planning on promoting ToD with it as well.
It would be great, not to mention easier, if I had lots of people contribute content. I could do a cheap mail order and free in the store and locally.
I could also send all the page files to people to print copies and distro them in their hometown, etc... _________________ www.myspace.com/wraithmanger

My question: Is it okay for a grown man to wear diapers, without pants, in public?

If you are talking about off white, baggy elastic waste band shorts, then no, it is NEVER o.k. for an adult to wear those. We do have a face book page, Orvenwolf reached out to me with some great ideas. I think I am going to start flyering when I go to shows, and get some business cards printed up so people will have something physical to remind them. I may also try to get more in touch with artists in the community and all that.
thanks for the kind words! You sound like the kinda person who may just say fuck it and eat a regular stoffer's frozen lunch instead of a lean cuisine... am i right? _________________ Listen to "Buried in Wax" Wednesdays on Temple of Despair radio! |
